Javorníček Brno is one of the largest and most established children’s folklore ensembles in the Czech Republic. For more than 65 years, we have been preserving and presenting the rich cultural heritage of Moravia, with a special focus on the traditions of Wallachia (Valašsko), Brno, and the Horácko region.
Our ensemble brings together over 200 young dancers, singers, and musicians aged 4 to 18. Through traditional dance, music, songs, and authentic folk costumes, we introduce audiences to the beauty and diversity of Czech folklore while passing these traditions on to future generations.
Over the decades, Javorníček has represented the Czech Republic at hundreds of festivals, concerts, and cultural events across Europe, Asia, and North America. Our performances combine artistic quality, youthful energy, and authentic folklore traditions, making us a welcome guest at international festivals and cultural celebrations around the world.

Our repertoire includes traditional dances, songs, and musical performances inspired by Czech folk customs, seasonal traditions, village life, and regional culture.
